The following email has been received from IAN WILLIAMS of the FAA Aircrewman's Association.
Ian points out that his proud branch badge is not shown. To rectify that little problem I here print Ian's email and then the attachment thereto, namely the branch badge.

Hello Jeff !!!
Really interesting site -loads of info and very readable !!
One thing I could not find anywhere (in the badges section) was a
depiction of my branch, the Naval Aircrewman !!
The branch was formed by MoD in 1974 - before that Rating Aircrew were
loaned out from their parent branch to fly in the back of Naval
aircraft
(mainly helos, but some fixed wing) It is now a well established
branch of it's own and certainly has a bright future manning the new
Merlin Mk1 and we still continue to fly in the ASW and Search and
Rescue Seakings of the Fleet Air Arm.
Ratings from LACMN (Leading Aircrewman) through to WOACMN (Warrant
Officer Aircrewman) fly in the Royal Navy and the
Branch musters well over 200 and above.
I am taking the liberty of attaching a set of gold wings we wear
should you wish to use them.
Best regards
Ian Williams
